May 2012: We arrived safely in Corfu on schedule despite the late departure and were surprised to find that Greece is 2hrs ahead of BST! Arriving in Corfu:

After driving to 4 Paleokastritsa (on the west coast) we found that our selected campsite didn’t open until 15 May.

We found a very nice spot just outside Dassia (on the east coast, just north of Corfu Town) parked our T4 near an intrepid looking T2 from Germany and pitched our new awning for the first time.

Temperatures in mid 20’s and very pleasant so we took our first dip in the Ionian sea.
